For some of our clients such as those in hospitality services, we have paused their digital marketing work until they are ready to go back to work. Others have transformed their businesses with online ordering and new delivery services. These businesses want changes to their marketing to help to explain and promote the new offerings to their customers. It’s a case-by-case situation and no single answer is right for everyone.
For some traditional retail clients, we’re quickly building new and expanded websites with shopping facilities so their customers can buy from them online.
For others, we’re adding integrations to make their websites talk nicely to their POS and inventory systems so customers can see stock levels available and know they can purchase online with confidence.
Over the past weeks, we’ve had plenty of conversations with business owners who want help, firstly to survive, and then to improve how they can run their business in a near-lockdown environment. Where possible, we recommend good low-cost solutions. (Sometimes even free.) More than ever, businesses do not want to spend unnecessary money if they can avoid it. We totally understand that. In fact, we’ve always operated on that principle when we make our recommendations to clients.
As an example of creative AND free, why not try Facebook Live? Facebook Live enables businesses to stream live video to their customers to keep customers informed about the business and any new products, specials or other changes. You can do this with just a mobile phone. And using Facebook, your customers can chat directly with you and your business using Facebook Messenger. It’s all free to use, but it works well and can make a big difference to sales, service and customer support.
Fortunately our society has smart and low-cost technology for us to stay connected and still do business during times of isolation. Your business does NOT have to be isolated from your customers if you use available technology wisely and effectively.
Concise Digital is a fully online digital agency. Even before this crisis, our people, systems, processes and management infrastructure were all in place to run our business fully online. We do not have fancy offices where we all work together. We work together online.
